Hello Hunters!
It's been a weird, wild year since the kickstarter campaign phase of this project ended and we launched our post-campaign project production phase. Despite all of that, life goes on and things gradually slide forward. No major announcements for Hunter this month, but as we head into the weekend, I wanted to make sure we had our regular progress check in and keep on top of things.

As a Hero, a Scion becomes a figure of myth and story, an exemplar of some virtue of their chosen society or the culture they’re born into. Even before their Visitation, the children of the Gods are a breed apart. But some want more than this lesser form of immortality, forever in the shadow of their parents. The golden ichor within the Scion’s heart sears and cooks them, ever burning away any human frailties of the Scion and driving them toward more audacious Deeds. They seek to become truly transformational figures, leaving The World forever different in their wake. At the fifth dot of Legend, it all reaches a tipping point, where the Scion is formed more of divine ichor than mortal flesh —more immortal than mortal, a true Demigod. They have declared to The World that they will not be pawns of Fate, but players in their own right. They will succeed in becoming a God, or they will die with their failure.
Everything up to this point was your prologue. Now it’s time to live your myth.
Scion: Demigod continues the path set down by Scion: Origin and Scion: Hero, expanding Scion Second Edition’s power level and charting the next level of power tiers for the Scions of the Gods. Players will take their characters through a tightly designed yet flexible story arc that ends in apotheosis or death – either way, the character will no longer be mortal after this book. Your characters don’t have to follow every Milestone with their Deeds — but they cannot run from their destiny once they’ve chosen to embrace it.

Hello Hunters,
We've hit the final week of another month in 2020, something that seems to take forever at the same time that June seemed to end just last week. That won't stop me from posting our regular month end update so that we're all in the loop on the status for our projects!

Onyx Path's latest game of cinema-inspired fun is They Came from Beyond the Grave! If you're a fan of Roger Corman's creature features, Hammer horror films, or the Amicus movies, this game is for you.
1970s Monster Hunter
Set in two time periods - the 1970s, when these movies were made, and the 19th century, when many were set - you may just find yourself running or participating in a tale of suspense set across two different eras, both of which contain a mix of hammy acting, technicolor blood, wobbling sets, and all the screams an audience could want.
Indulge in the cigarette smoke, despairing mood, and wide collars of the 1970s. Enjoy the rock and drugs entering the mainstream. What was counterculture is now simply culture. Maybe you favor the disco, or perhaps the punk scene is more your thing. Grow a mustache. Grow a whole beard! It’s no longer rebellious to wear hair or sideburns so long or skirts so short: it’s expected. Hitchhiking isn’t a death sentence yet. Or not quite. Everyone owns a car, and international travel has never felt so easy.
Prepare to trudge through the London fog, creep around unlit alleys, and get lost on misty moors as your deerstalker and long coat gets saturated from the rain apparently incessant throughout the 19th century depicted in the cinema. Prepare to catch a ride in a carriage and ask the driver why he’s going so fast through this part of the woods. Expect to knock on the door to an imposing castle, only to see the butler, far too pale of face, ask whether you’re here to see “the mistress.” The 19th century beckons you to play within its Victorian gothic mood. Start the game here or start it in the 1970s — whichever you prefer, They Came from Beyond the Grave! has monsters, stories, and encounters for whatever tale you wish to tell.

Hello Hunters,
No major updates for this month (our project is still in the earliest stages of the post-kickstarter process), but wanted to make sure I continue my monthly update posts to track all of our rewards and continue to share any info about the project (and other Onyx Path projects) so we're all in the loop.

I do want to share this exciting bit of fun! As you may know, Onyx Path hosted a Virtual Gaming Convention earlier this month, featuring interesting panels discussing their processes and projects as well as other relevant topics. You can check out the videos on their Twitch Channel or search #OnxyPathCon on Youtube.
BUT, best of all, they (and their partners at Gehenna Gaming) ran some great Onyx Path games, including Hunter:The Vigil Second Edition! Now you can get a taste of this Actual Play session! Hello Hunters,
Yep, it's time for another month end update! A lot of these are going to be fairly similar - the books take a long time to go from preview manuscript to final, finished form - but I want to make sure that, even if there aren't any major status changes on our project list, you hear from me regularly to know that I'm here, Onyx Path is working on the project, and nothing has been forgotten.
